Noise Pollution

Noise Pollution

This planet is no less than a heaven . Nature has provided everything to live peacefully and gracefully in our respective places. God has made wonderful balance in nature as well as in universe. Sadly we have created imbalance in the name of industrialisation and urbanisation.
Environment pollution is one of the greatest threats to mankind. It gives birth to many chronic and fatal diseases.
Besides water pollution and air pollution, noise pollution the gift of
mechanised society, has become a public health hazard. It causes wide
spread damage to the human mind and body. It leads to headaches,
fatigue, inefficiency, blood pressure and abnormal heart rhythms. It takes
away peace and tranquility from the life of the people. The free use of
loudspeakers at a high volume in religious functions and other ceremonies
has become the enemy of students, patients and aged people at night. It has become a fashion or tradition to play music or loudspeakers in each and every function or religious ceremony. All advancement proves useless if man could not find a peaceful place to relax and rest. Motor vehicles , running machinery in factories and other activities of humans has made a chaos.

We are living in a strange country where every one has birth right to
create nuisance. Hard steps should be taken to put a blanket ban on the
use of loudspeakers, pressure horns of vehicle and other sources of noise
pollution to bring peace and beauty to life. Population control may be an effective step in this direction. If our population continues increasing at the present rate, it would be impossible for anyone to find a calm and peaceful place .
